The EUHT system of Guangzhou Metro Knowledge City branch was online and put into commercial use. It realized the whole carriage real-time monitoring of 30-channel HD video in single train for the first time in the world. 24 HD cameras were installed in Line 14 metro, and 3HD cameras were installed in the driver’s cab. No matter in the peak time or off-peak time, the real-time monitoring video can be transmitted directly to the metro control center and the police station. It will be safer for passengers to take Line 14. According to the introduction, this technology will be applied in the new metro line of Shenzhen metro in 2018.

By using of the new generation wireless communication technology-EUHT-5G, Guangzhou metro has made the technological breakthrough. This technology solved the problem of high reliability, low delay and large capacity wireless communication transmission under the condition of high-speed movement. It can be regarded as pulling an invisible fiber between the metro carriages and the ground, which can continuously transmit the HD monitoring video to the ground.

It is reported that this technology has reached the requirements of 5G technology, which is three years ahead of other countries. Furthermore, EUH-5G technology is independently developed by the Chinese company Nufront. It owns completely independent intellectual property rights, controllable information security and controllable application development.
